Symantec EDAP Enterprise Development Alliance Program

Program Overview

The Symantec Enterprise Development Alliance Program offers your organization the opportunity to engage with Symantec development teams at various levels of our product development cycle. The core of the program involves listening to our customers needs and then implementing those needs and ideas into our security solutions. We can not produce world class security solutions without help from the end users of our products. When you participate in the program you may contribute to product development efforts typically in three areas:

    1. Exploration of your network security needs – You tell Symantec what you want and need in a security solution.
    2. Prioritizing product requirements based on these needs – Because of release timetables, not all wants/needs can be met in a specific timeframe. We need you to help us prioritize the product requirements based on your priorities.
    3. Providing technical feedback of pre release Symantec solutions - Once we have beta code, we need you to test and provide feedback on how we have implemented the solution.

By participating, your organization will become part of the team that helps to drive a Symantec solution. By offering pre-release strategy and input, you help Symantec develop customer-driven solutions. When you participate, you will gain insights that help your organization prepare for and leverage the latest security technologies from Symantec.

Note: You might start a project at any one of the phases. For example, with many projects you might only be working in the providing technical feedback phase.
